- 01
Define the question and scope
Describe the facts, legal issue, and subject of the judgments you need. Use that scope to begin your case-law search.
- 02
Assess the answer with its source
Explore a source-linked answer with Agent. Follow the source link to the relevant judgment and assess its relevance to your matter.
- 03
Move from findings to a draft
Choose the findings and sources you will use. Prepare a working note or pleading draft with Document Drafting, then review its legal accuracy.
Example workflow
From research to a pleading draft
Research judgments on a notice requirement in a contract dispute. Assess the facts and reasoning in relevant judgments, then use the sources you select to prepare the reasoning section of a pleading draft. Have a legal professional review the final text against the case and requested relief.
Research scope and access
Legal Research is a paid module. Review the scope and terms for your account on the pricing page. Discuss access to legislation and other sources in the context of your team’s needs.
UYAP is a separate connection module. Manually uploading a UDF document does not require a UYAP connection and does not replace that connection.
