Dashboard and analytics

Define metrics, period and data scope.

Use this guide to prepare and check your work. Exact screens and availability in your account have not yet been verified.

Who this guide is for

Managers using indicators to understand team activity.

Before you begin

  • Define the question and event to count: a created document, a completed review or another record.
  • Set the comparison period and company/workspace scope, and have a few sample work records ready.

Work through the task

  1. Open the dashboard or Analytics view available to your account. Read the card label, period and company context.
  2. Set available date and scope filters and note the period boundaries. Use the same duration and scope when comparing with a previous period.
  3. Check what the metric counts: attempts, completed results or unique documents. If no definition is available, flag that question in your report.
  4. Check the metric against a few records, distinguishing retries and incomplete work. If they disagree, do not adjust the chart count using an estimate.
  5. Share the period, scope, observed value and unresolved data questions. Identify a next action, such as checking owners of pending reviews.

Example

Example interpretation: “1–23 September, Procurement: the card shows 12 reviews. Sample records include retries; the count definition needs confirmation.” This does not establish 12 completed contracts or a specific number of hours saved.

Check your result

  • Period, scope and metric definition were recorded together and checked against sample records.
  • Observed numbers are distinguished from interpretations and estimates; comparison periods are consistent.

If something goes wrong

  • If Analytics is unavailable, confirm role and account access; a direct link is not an access remedy.
  • For a zero or empty card, check dates and scope. Missing data does not establish that no work occurred.
  • If two views disagree, record filters, metric labels and observation time; do not combine totals before confirming that they measure the same thing.

What still needs confirmation

An indicator does not prove metric accuracy or return on investment. Real-time updates and access for every user are not verified.
